SoundEffectButton
Press T to play a sound effect! Default: Bad To The Bone Riff. This mod was mainly made to test how I can play sound effects on multiple clients at once, but I'm uploading it in case anyone else would want to have fun with it.
Additional Options
Technically this mod lets you add any sound you want to this. If you replace the given.ogg file in BepInEx/plugins/Witherstyle-SoundEffectButton/ with another one, then it will play the given audio instead.
Configuration
After launching the mod once, a config file is generated and can be edited.
| Option | Description | Default |
|-------------------------|--------------------------------------------------|---------|
| Sound Effect Button | Clicking this button will play the given sound effect. | KeyCode.T |
| Sound Effect Volume | Volume of sound effect. | 1f |
| Sound Effect Range | Maximum distance sound effect can be heard from. | 50f |
| Sound Effect Cooldown | How often can the sound be played (1.0f is the length of the sound effect). | 1f |
| Kill On Press | If you play the sound effect, you instantly die. | false |
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
