About this mod Machine translation

Simple Teleport

Press T in-game to open a teleport panel. See every teammate with their live distance, then warp to them or pull them to you.

Press T during the game to open the teleport panel, check the real-time distance of each teammate, and then teleport to him, or pull him to your side.

Features

  • Teammate list — every player in the room, sorted alphabetically by name so cards stay put as people move
  • Live distance — straight-line distance to each teammate, updated every frame
  • Two directions — Go To warps you to them, Bring pulls them to you. No host permission needed
  • Scrolling list — up to 6 cards at once, mouse wheel or a draggable scrollbar to browse when the room is bigger
  • Safe landing — probes 8 directions around the target for a spot that is not inside geometry and has ground beneath it
  • State aware — dead, downed and mid-warp teammates are labelled, and buttons that cannot work are greyed out
  • Bilingual — follows the game's own language setting (English / 简体中文 / 繁体中文)

Usage

| Input | Action |

| --- | --- |

| T | Open / close the panel |

| Mouse wheel | Scroll the list |

| Drag the scrollbar | Scroll the list. Clicking an empty part of the track jumps there |

| Left click Go To | Teleport yourself next to that teammate |

| Left click Bring | Teleport that teammate next to you |

While the panel is open your character stops receiving movement input, exactly as it does for the game's own menus. Nothing is locked or hidden — closing the panel restores everything.

Configuration

BepInEx/config/khalil.SimpleTeleport.cfg, generated on first launch.

| Key | Default | Description |

| --- | --- | --- |

| ToggleKey | T | Key that opens and closes the panel |

| CooldownSeconds | 1.5 | Minimum gap between teleports, prevents ragdoll glitches from spamming |

| ArrivalOffset | 1.6 | Horizontal distance from the target you land at, in metres |

| CloseAfterTeleport | true | Close the panel automatically after a successful teleport |

| PanelScale | 1.0 | Overall panel scale. Automatically clamped so the panel never exceeds the screen |

| UseMetricDistance | true | Append m to distances |

How it works

This mod does not patch any game method — there are no Harmony hooks at all.

Teleporting reuses the game's own Character.WarpPlayerRPC, the exact same call that the Warp Compass, the thrown warp item, the biome jump and the Scoutmaster all use. That means ragdoll collision, climbing interruption and held-item handling are all done by the game's original code. The RPC has no permission check on the game's side, so Bring works for any player, host or not.

Input blocking borrows the game's own mechanism: a native MenuWindow instance is registered as an open window while the panel is up, so GUIManager unlocks the cursor and Character.CanDoInput() returns false — the same path every vanilla menu takes.

The panel builds its own Canvas with no GraphicRaycaster and every graphic set to raycastTarget = false, so it never intercepts clicks meant for the game's UI. Hit testing is done by the mod itself.

Compatibility

  • Client-side. Only you need it installed. Other players do not need the mod for Bring to work on them.
  • No Harmony patches, so no conflicts with other mods by construction.
  • Built against PEAK 2.4.b.

Known limitations

  • Dead players cannot be moved. The game drags corpses back to a fixed position every physics step, so a warp would just fight it. Those buttons are greyed out with a reason shown.

AI disclosure

This mod was developed with AI assistance (Claude). All game API usage was verified against decompiled game source, and the mod has been tested in-game.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
