Use translucent spheres to visually display various areas of effect: fog swamp bell tower (will-o'-the-wisp), campfire, candle, lantern, fairy lantern, friendship trumpet, range super jump amulet, and unlimited stamina amulet. Each type of facilities and props can be switched on and off and matched independently, and the color, transparency, and sphere fineness can be adjusted; each prop can also be controlled and displayed separately in one's own hands, in the hands of teammates, and on the ground.

About this mod Machine translation

range perspective circle

Use translucent spheres to visually display the various scopes of action in the game, helping you see who is in the circle and who is outside the circle. The sphere is only displayed on your own screen and does not affect other players.

Function

  • Clock Tower (Will-o'-the-Wisp): The protection range of the clock tower on the Foggy Swamp map. By default, only the ones that are lit are displayed.
  • Campfire: The dark protection range of the campfire is turned off by default.
  • Candle: a safe area formed after being lit, turned on by default.
  • Lantern: The dark protection range of ordinary lanterns is turned off by default.
  • Fairy Lantern: The dark protection range of the fairy lantern is turned off by default.
  • Friendship Trumpet: The scope of action when blown, is enabled by default.
  • Super Jump Talisman: After use, it affects the range of nearby teammates. It is enabled by default.
  • Infinite Stamina Amulet (in-game name "Scout's Ambition"): The preview ball is only displayed when it is held. After activation, the game has a built-in range circle, and this module will no longer be drawn repeatedly.

The six types of props, namely candles, lanterns, fairy lanterns, friendship trumpets, super jump talismans, and infinite stamina talismans, can also be controlled to display the items in your own hands, those in the hands of your teammates, and those on the ground respectively. By default, only the items in your own hands will be displayed.

The color and transparency of each type of facilities and props can be adjusted individually. The default transparency is low, so as not to block the view. The radius of the ball is taken from the judgment value of the game itself and is not enlarged or reduced.

How to use

It will automatically take effect when you enter the game after installation, no additional operations are required. The adjustable items are all in the configuration file BepInEx\config\peak.rangeoverlay.cfg, and the changes will take effect after re-entering the game.

Install

Use Mod Manager or gale to install; when installing manually, put the dll in the plugins directory under BepInEx\plugins\ of the game.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
