Scrap Clean
PEAK's cleaning module: clean up dropped and placed objects with one click.
Install
- Install through the mod manager (r2modman Mod Manager), or manually extract it to BepInEx/plugins/.
- Pre-dependency: BepInExPack PEAK.
use
| Operation | Effect |
|---|---|
| F | Enter/exit cleaning mode |
| Scroll the wheel | Switch between "Single selection cleaning" and "Range cleaning" (unbounded, change mode each time you scroll) |
| Left mouse button | Perform cleanup |
There are clear text prompts and up-and-down scrolling animations for entering mode, exiting mode, and switching modes.
The permanent information bar at the bottom of the screen will display in real time which target will be cleared.
Single choice cleanup
Select by sight: The dropped or placed object pointed by the crosshair will be highlighted, left click to clear it.
The order of judgment is "the upper limit of distance (default 100 meters) → within the field of view cone → no terrain obstruction → the smallest angle with the crosshair",
So things that are not in the player's eyes will not be selected and will not be cleared by mistake.
Determination is based on the object's visual bounding box rather than its coordinate origin: like a cannon (the origin is at the base),
Targets such as pedal mushrooms on the wall (the origin is at the wall contact point) will be blocked by their own ground/wall and will never be selected if the origin is used for judgment.
scope cleanup
A dotted circle (radius 3 meters, configurable) appears in line of sight that fits the surface. The center of the circle is the point where the crosshair hits,
The ring is expanded along the surface normal at that point and snapped to the real geometry point by point:
The ground is close to the ground, the wall is close to the wall, and the slope is undulating along the slope without wearing the mold.
All dropped and placed objects within the circle will be cleared together.
What are "dropped objects" and "placed objects"
- Dropped items: Any item dropped on the ground (Item.itemState == Ground).
What’s in your hands and what’s in your backpack never gets cleared.
- Placed objects: objects left on the map after players use props. Confirmed support for:
- Rope anchor points (anchor points produced by rope cannon/rope reel) and their ropes
- ClimbingSpikeHammered (including inferior pitons)
- Checkpoint flag (Flag_Planted_Checkpoint)
- PortableStovetop_Placed
- Scout Cannon (ScoutCannon_Placed)
- "Placement" form of Pedal Mushroom/Bounce Mushroom/Full Health Mushroom/Cloud Fungus
- MagicBeanVine
-ChainShootable and JungleVine
- A balloon tied to the player (TiedBalloon)
Fixed scenery such as world-generated terrain, rocks, buildings, wooden platforms, etc. will never be cleared.
Multiplayer online instructions
Cleaning is divided into three paths, all implemented according to the actual rules of PUN:
- Your own stuff → Delete it directly.
- Items dropped by others → It is allowed to take over ownership and delete them after snatching them.
- Other people’s placed objects → PUN prohibits the transfer of ownership of such objects.
Scrap Clean will send a custom event (event code 190) to the object's owner client.
The other party will delete it on their behalf. The opposite end also needs to install this module, otherwise the object will remain unchanged (safety failure, no unauthorized destruction).
Cross-player cleanup can be turned off completely with Network/AllowOwnershipTakeover = false.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
