RopePreview
Press and hold the right mouse button (configurable) to preview the landing point of the rope cannon, anti-weight rope cannon and chain launcher: the rope is simulated in real time according to the game's own rope physics, and the preview line fits the real rope segment to naturally hang, swing and fall on the terrain within the range, and the landing point is marked at the end; the chain directly displays the real chain model consistent with the game. Hide the transmitter in your hand during preview and disappear after releasing the button.

Rope Cannon Preview
While holding a Rope Cannon, Anti-Gravity Rope Cannon or Chain Launcher, hold down the right mouse button (configurable) to preview the landing point after launching. Automatically hide the transmitter in your hand during preview, and the preview will disappear after releasing the button.
Function
- Press and hold preview: Press and hold the right mouse button (configurable) to simulate rope physics in real time, draw a rope-colored preview line along the real rope segment and mark the landing point at the end
- Hide transmitter: Automatically hide the transmitter in your hand during preview to avoid blocking the line of sight (can be turned off)
- Release and disappear: Delay 0.5 seconds (configurable) to automatically clean the preview after releasing the button
- Anti-gravity support: Automatically identify the anti-gravity rope gun and simulate the anti-gravity effect
- Chain launcher support: The chain launcher directly displays the real chain model consistent with the game (the drooping shape is the same as the game), without the need for physical simulation
- Real physics: The rope is driven by the game's own rope physics. It will naturally hang, swing and collide with the terrain within the range. The preview line fits the shape of the rope segment.
- Local only: only displayed on your side, no network data is sent, other players cannot see the preview
How to use
Hold the launcher and hold down the right mouse button to preview the landing point. To change the intensity or angle, release and press again.
The configuration file is in BepInEx/config/RopePreview.cfg:

| Enable Preview | true | Turn preview on or off |
| Release Buffer | 0.5 | How many seconds to delay clearing the preview after letting go to avoid jitter |
| Hide Held Item | true | Hide the launcher in hand during preview |
| Marker Color | Yellow | The color of the mark at the end of the rope |
| Marker Size | 0.3 | The size of the drop mark at the end of the rope |
Install
Just install it with Mod Manager or Gale, and the dependencies will be installed together.
Manual installation: Place RopePreview.dll in the plugins in the zip into BepInEx/plugins/ in the PEAK installation directory, and start the game.
Permission description
As long as you mark the original author "Squirtle18", you can borrow and reprint all my mods, ideas and codes (not just this mod) at will to carry out all activities you need.
This is allowed even if the code is 100% similar and you just localized the configuration file or even just changed the description file to make the description clearer. (I just cannot upload the source code because my github account is used by someone else)
But I hope that the mod you learn from will also authorize the mod community to learn from it.
If A borrows my ideas or code, and B borrows A's ideas or code, the final credits should be: Squirtle18, A, and B. (Yes, include acknowledgment of yourself, and I thank you for your contribution to the community)
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
