PhantomParty
No longer collide with each other or block the field of view when crowded together: the bodies, hats and medals of players at close range automatically become translucent. The transparency and trigger distance are adjustable. You can optionally make backpacks and handheld items transparent together. All of them only take effect on this machine, and configuration changes will take effect immediately.
About this mod Machine translation
Phantom Party
Function
- Disable player collision: Collisions between local and remote players are ignored. When crowded together, they can pass through each other and will no longer be pushed; collisions with terrain, walls, and props are not affected.
- Close translucency: When other players come within the triggering distance and enter the field of view, the body, hat and medal will automatically become translucent, allowing you to see the terrain behind and other players clearly; they will automatically recover after leaving the range or field of view.
- Optional transparency of backpacks and handheld items: off by default. When turned on, the backpack on your back and the items in your hands will also become transparent.
All effects only take effect on this machine and are not synchronized with the network. The screen and experience of other players will not be affected.
How to use
After installation, edit the configuration file \config\PhantomParty.cfg and modify various items. After saving, it will take effect immediately when you return to the game without restarting.
| Grouping | Options | Default | Description |
|------|------|--------|------|
| General | Master switch | true | All functions will not take effect when turned off |
| collision | disable player collisions | true | ignore collisions between local and remote players |
| Field of view | Translucent at close range | true | The target is translucent when the distance and field of view are satisfied |
| Vision | Make backpack transparent | false | Make backpack also translucent |
| Vision | Make hand-held items transparent | false | Make hand-held items also translucent |
| Field of view | Opacity | 0.25 | 0.0 ~ 1.0, the smaller the value, the more transparent |
| Vision | Trigger distance | 2.0 | Maximum distance (meters) |
| Field of view | Only effective within the field of view | true | Only effective for targets within the field of view |
| Scope | Handle Bot players | true | Bots are also treated according to the same rules |
Common adjustments:
- If it feels not transparent enough, lower the "Opacity" to about 0.15.
- If you want to trigger earlier, adjust the "trigger distance" to 3 ~ 4 meters.
- If you just want to keep collision penetration, turn off "Close Translucency".
Install
Just install it via Mod Manager or gale. When installing manually, put the dll in the plugins directory in the zip into the \BepInEx\plugins\ directory.
Requires BepInEx 5.4.75301 or higher.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
