Peak Blocks HUD — prototype 0.1.1
An unofficial solo-play prototype for PEAK. The first three hotbar slots show PEAK items; the last six select placeable blocks. The HUD shows PEAK stamina as an experience bar. Placed blocks snap to a world grid and show a black outline when targeted.
Requirements
- PEAK on Windows and the PEAK BepInExPack (installed automatically by a mod manager).
- Your own local Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4 installation. This package does not contain Minecraft textures. At launch, it reads the HUD and block images from %APPDATA%\.minecraft\versions\1.21.4\1.21.4.jar.
If that Minecraft version is missing, the mod cannot show its HUD or place blocks. Install and launch Minecraft Java 1.21.4 through the official launcher before starting modded PEAK.
Controls
| Action | Controller | Keyboard |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Choose one of nine slots | PEAK's normal next/previous slot controls | 1–9 |
| Place selected block | LT | B |
| Remove targeted mod block | RT | X |
| Toggle this mod | — | F6 |
Block controls work while a block slot (4–9) is selected. Slots 1–3 remain PEAK item slots.
Current limits
- Blocks are local to the current run; they are neither saved nor synchronized with other players. Use solo play.
- Hearts and food reproduce the HUD appearance but do not track PEAK health or hunger. PEAK's original extra-stamina display remains visible.
- Built against PEAK v2.6.a. Later PEAK updates may need a mod update.
- The latest block and controller changes have compiled successfully; gameplay testing on another PC and a mod-manager profile is still pending.
This is an unofficial fan mod. It is not affiliated with PEAK, Landfall, Aggro Crab, Minecraft, Mojang, or Microsoft.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
