MyColoredName
A simple mod to change your name's color.

MyColoredName
I am growing tired of being asked how to obtain a colored name.
I am also frustrated by being accused of cheating simply because I have a colored name.
To address this, I have created a mod that allows you to have your own personalized colored name.
This mod does not alter your original name; it only adds color tags for visual customization.
Please be aware that certain anti-cheat systems may flag your name as potentially spoofed.
I am not liable for any bans or restrictions you may encounter in multiplayer lobbies.
Usage
To obtain a color HEX code, perform a search for "color picker" on Google.
Once you have the desired HEX code, input it into the configuration file.
Please note that you can specify up to five colors, and the length value determines the number of characters displayed for each color.
Rainbow Color Example:
- FF0000 (Red)
- FFA500 (Orange)
- FFFF00 (Yellow)
- 00FF00 (Green)
- 0000FF (Blue)
Configuration
Use ModConfig to change the configuration in-game.
Or edit the config file at BepInEx/config/my.pahsiv.MyColoredName.cfg.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
