A PEAK challenge mod where you climb using only enhanced jumps, HelpUp, and RunUp instead of ground WASD movement or wall grabbing.

About this mod Author’s original text

JumpingPEAK

JumpingPEAK turns PEAK's usual movement and wall-climbing gameplay into a jump-focused cooperative climbing challenge.

Instead of gaining height through normal ground WASD movement or grabbing and climbing walls, players must rely on enhanced jumps, mid-air directional control, HelpUp, and RunUp (Pal Jump) to reach the next ledge and make their way up the mountain.

Core Gameplay

  • Ground WASD movement is restricted
  • Wall grabbing and normal wall climbing are restricted
  • Enhanced normal jumps
  • Stronger jumps while holding Shift
  • Mid-air directional control after jumping
  • RunUp: an enhanced cooperative Pal Jump
  • HelpUp: lets a player above pull up a falling teammate
  • Stamina maintenance and protection from progression-blocking status effects on climbing maps
  • Custom jump sound
  • Normal PEAK movement and interactions are preserved in the Airport

How to Play

The goal is simple: reach the summit using jumps and teamwork instead of walking uphill or climbing walls.

In solo play, precise jump timing and landing control are essential. In multiplayer, coordinating RunUp and HelpUp becomes an important part of the climb.

Controls

| Input | Function |

|---|---|

| WASD | Choose jump direction on the ground / control direction in mid-air |

| Space | Enhanced jump |

| Shift + Space | Stronger enhanced jump |

| Hold Right Click | Use HelpUp to rescue an airborne teammate |

| Pal Jump | Use the RunUp cooperative jump |

Multiplayer

JumpingPEAK is designed around cooperative play. It is recommended that everyone in the lobby uses the same version of the mod.

Installation

Install JumpingPEAK through Mod Manager, or manually place JumpingPEAK.dll in PEAK's BepInEx/plugins folder.

Source

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
