Version: v1.1.3 | Build target: PEAK 2.4.c (multiplayer checks pending) | 👉Chinese description and update log
Local voice state recovery/Local voice state recovery
- Automatically restore the remote player's invalid voice status reference, enabled by default; still detected every 0.5 seconds when the panel is closed. Only updates references and does not actively modify mute, block or communication permissions.
- Abnormalities are displayed on the second line of players, and Pro mode is not required; the simple panel will also list the affected players and the second line of prompts. "Voice status restored" is displayed for 8 seconds after recovery, which does not mean that audio reception has been confirmed.
- Does not rely on CrossplayStutterFix (CSF) and does not require the host or teammates to install it. When CSF is installed, the same set of on-demand recovery logic is still used and its patches are not replaced; the coexistence effect needs to be verified on the actual machine.
- The repair scope is only the invalid reference of the local voice component. It does not repair the entire character registry, does not deal with network interruptions, and does not guarantee that all voice loss problems can be restored. After turning off automatic recovery in the configuration, the exception prompt remains.
- Restores invalid remote-player voice state references locally every 0.5 seconds, even with the overlay hidden. Enabled by default; does not explicitly change mute, block or communication permission flags.
- Status appears on the player's second line without Pro mode, and affected players also appear in the simple overlay. A restoration notice lasts 8 seconds; it does not confirm incoming audio.
- No CSF, host or peer installation is required. With CSF installed, the same recovery runs only when needed and does not replace CSF patches. In-game coexistence checks are pending. This repairs voice references, not the whole character registry or network failures.
- Mod Overview
- Based on the PEAK VOICE FIX from @chuxia,supports switching between Chinese and English. It includes optimized reconnection logic and additional monitoring features. Press the J to view the voice status of all players in the room. If you experience voice issues, use ALT+K to manually disconnect and reconnect (this can only be done once if the connection is stuck for over 20 seconds).
- For the host's voice server broadcast to work, both the host and clients must have the mod installed. If only one party has the mod, its functionality will be limited to viewing the team's voice status and manual reconnection.
- I have made some optimizations to the text in version 0.3.5. The previous expressions like "MY IP" could indeed lead people to mistakenly believe that their IP would be exposed.
- To facilitate maintenance, the Chinese and English versions will be combined and re-released. You can select the language in the configuration options and it will take effect upon restart.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
