This Mod changes the vanilla spell blade skill, Gong Strike, so that it doesnt remove the imbue on use.
It also lowers the Cooldown down to 20 secs., by popular demand.
There was an old Mod called "improved Gong strike" that did the same but it's outdated so here we are.
FAQ:
- Q: Why?
A: Because some people find it annoying to lose their imbue and because Elemental Discharge has 10 seconds, so it feels weird.
- Q: What does this actually do?
A: This mod removes the firt effect from the list of skill effects called "removeimbue". It also lowers its cooldown down to 20 seconds.
- Q: Are any other mechanics changed by this mod?
A: I think not
- Q: Which mods are needed for this mod to work?
A: Sideloader, BepInEXPack.
- Q: Does this work online / on multiplayer?
A: Yes. I think both players should have this mod and all required mods (SL, SL Extended, BepInExPack) for it to work.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
