OldMarket.JournalInfo
Features
Stock overview
- Shows product icons in the stock list.
- Stack counts exclude empty boxes.
- Adds an “Other (foraged items, seeds, etc.)” stock tab (all items that are not tool, animal, or product).
- If AutoStorage is installed, items in the Other tab are sorted according to AutoStorage’s category definitions.
- This is not a hard dependency: this mod works fine without OldMarket.AutoStorage. Even if AutoStorage is uninstalled, category sorting still works as long as its config files remain.
- Adds an “Items customers couldn’t find” tab (reset when you go to sleep).
Safe balance required for the next morning
- Displays the balance required for the next morning in the BANKRUPTCY section (RENT, MAINTENANCE, TAX, and EMPLOYEES).
- If your coins at bedtime fall below this amount, you will no longer be able to employ workers (a red warning is shown).
- The required amount changes dynamically based on your current balance, sales, purchases, expansions, and other factors.
- You can use this value as a guideline to keep taxes under control while avoiding bankruptcy and preventing EMPLOYEES from being dismissed due to insufficient funds.
This mod does not change game balance; it only adds UI information.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
