Ping Latency Overlay Meter
Displays the latency by creating a color-changing overlay with the current ping.
This is a rewrite of S2PingOverlay uploaded by Mysterious_RSA and created by S2ymi.
Settings
These settings are available in the Northstar Mod-Settings menu:
- Size
- Text size
- Position X and Y
- Range per value: 0.0 to 1.0
- X is horizontal and Y vertical
- X = 0 and Y = 0 is top-left
- X = 1 and Y = 1 is bottom-right
- Refresh Time
- Time between refreshes in seconds
- Opacity
- Range: 0.0 to 1.0
- Dynamic Color
- Disabled or Enabled
- The overlay changes color and transparency according to ping
- Static Color Channels: Red, green, blue
- Range per value: 0.0 to 1.0
- Only used, if dynamic color is disabled
Screenshots
Install & use Install: Northstar client mod
- Install the Northstar client first (the open-source community client for Titanfall 2; its release page provides an installer). It loads the mods.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and put its contents into the Northstar/mods/ folder inside your Titanfall2 directory.
- Start the game through NorthstarLauncher.exe — the console lists the mods it loaded.
Northstar is for private servers and custom content; do not use it to connect to official servers.
Dependencies
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
