Reposition the EVA-8's kill counter along the Picatinny rail.
What it changes
The counters move to their new positions - the case translates along with the holographic numerals, showing that the fit is exactly the same as before.
NOTE: Player hands will not obscure the counter
Technically, only 1 data in ptpov_w1128.mdl has been changed:

mdl has a "binding inverse matrix" pre-stored inside, so changing the binding position will simultaneously drive the geometry (shell) and bone hanging points (RUI holographic numbers) - the displacements of the two are exactly the same, so there will be no misalignment of the numbers and the shell.
Compatibility / Compatibility
- Pure client, other players cannot see it; damage, spread and hit determination are not modified.
- Replaces the entire ptpov_w1128.mdl: conflicts with any mod that also replaces this file (last loader takes effect).
- RUI segments, materials, and animations are all kept as they are - this module does not recompile the model, and only changes 1 value in the original mdl.
Install / Install
Unzip to the Titanfall2 directory, merge the mods folder with Titanfall2\R2Northstar\mods, and enable EVA8KillCounterFix in the Northstar mods menu.
Unzip into your Titanfall2 folder so that mods merges with Titanfall2\R2Northstar\mods, then enable EVA8KillCounterFix in the Northstar mods menu.
Install & use Install: Northstar client mod
- Install the Northstar client first (the open-source community client for Titanfall 2; its release page provides an installer). It loads the mods.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and put its contents into the Northstar/mods/ folder inside your Titanfall2 directory.
- Start the game through NorthstarLauncher.exe — the console lists the mods it loaded.
Northstar is for private servers and custom content; do not use it to connect to official servers.
