This is a complete overhaul to the original Dusk Spectre MDL mod released back in 2023.
This mod replaces both Male & Female Grapple Pilots with BRD-01 Spectre's from Apex Legends, with complete Camo Support and View Models.
2.1 Changes
- Fixed broken PBR materials on the Jumpkit (Thanks @Livyathan for spotting this)
- Added missing Cavity texture to the Jumpkit (This broke all PBR on the jumpkit for some reason)
2.0 Changes
- 4 NEW Variants are now available, chose which one suits you best
- Brand NEW Jiggle Physics for Pouches, Antennas and other Gadgets
- TAIL Variant with Jiggle Physics added
- ANIMATED EYES Variant added
- NEW & IMPROVED Weights
- Improved Camo Support
- New Materials (No Longer Replaces Base Textures - Easier To Swap Pilot Class)
- GIB's Replaced with Spectre GIB's
⚠️"Default Appearance" Variant is applied by Default, to change this follow the guide at the bottom of this page to change between variants

CAMO SUPPORT
All Variants feature FULL CAMO SUPPORT - The TAIL comes with it's own CAMO MASK to match.
ANIMATED EYES
Animated Eyes are controlled by a Custom Animated VTF and play on a short loop - Eyes can also change colour depending on TEAM.
JIGGLE PHYSICS
Jiggle Bones have been given to a plethora of gadgets along the Spectre's Body, including Grenades, Pouches and Antennas - Also effects TAIL Variants.
⚠️ CHANGING BETWEEN VARIANTS
STEP 1: By default the mod will have the "Default" Spectre Appearance Applied, to change this to one of the 4 Variants listed above head into the mods folder and follow the path mod\models\humans\pilots
In here there are 4 Folders containing the 4 Different Variants

STEP 2: Open the folder of the Variant you wish to apply, inside said folder you will find two.MDL files (files ending in "f" = Female, files ending in "m" = Male) Copy the.MDL file of the Gender you wish to change and paste it into the previous folder 📁pilots (Windows may ask you if you want to replace, just hit accept to make the changes)
STEP 3: Launch the game and check to see if your changes were applied successfully.
🎉Congratulations, you now have your chosen Spectre Variant applied!
Install & use Install: Northstar client mod
- Install the Northstar client first (the open-source community client for Titanfall 2; its release page provides an installer). It loads the mods.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and put its contents into the Northstar/mods/ folder inside your Titanfall2 directory.
- Start the game through NorthstarLauncher.exe — the console lists the mods it loaded.
Northstar is for private servers and custom content; do not use it to connect to official servers.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
