🛠️ User Guide
1. Open the archive
- Go to **File > Open** and select a `.rdb` file.
- The tool will automatically load the file list (please ensure that the associated `.rdx` file is in the same folder).
- Use the search bar at the top to instantly filter files by name or ID.
2. Extraction and modification
- **Extract**: Right-click any file in the list and select **Extract Selected** or use **Tools > Extract All**.
- **Modify (Inject)**: Right-click on the file and select **Inject New Data**. Select your modified files and the tool will automatically update the archive container.
3. Process Bin archive
- **Unpack**: Use **Tools > Unpack Bin Archive** to extract files from `archive_xx.bin`. This process generates a `manifest.json` file.
- **Package**: Use **Tools > Pack Bin Archive** and select the `.json` manifest file created when unpacking to rebuild the archive. The processed archive will be saved to the `Packed` folder.
4. Localization (modify text)
The localization process follows a specific multi-step workflow:
- **Unpack Bin**: Follow the "Bin Archive" steps above to extract the binary language files from the game's bin archive.
- **Convert to CSV**: Go to **Localization > Unpack Localization Files** and select the folder containing the extracted binaries. The unpacked CSV file will be placed in the `Export` folder.
- **Edit**: Open and modify the `.csv` file using any text editor or spreadsheet software (such as Excel).
- **Convert to Binary**: Use **Localization > Pack Localization Files** to convert the edited CSV file back to binary format. The new file will be saved in the `Result` folder.
- **Prepare to Rebuild**: Copy the original `manifest.json` into the `Result` folder, alongside your newly created binary language file.
- **Rebuild Bin**: Use **Tools > Pack Bin Archive** and select the `manifest.json` in the `Result` folder to build the final game `.bin` archive.
- **INSTALL**: Replace the original game files with your newly created `.bin` file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
