Camera Config - FOV and Camera Distance
🎮 **A powerful tool that allows you to freely control the game perspective! **
Tired of the default fixed perspective? This module allows you to adjust the **field of view (FOV)** and **camera distance** during combat as you wish, creating the most comfortable and immersive gaming experience! It is applicable to the trial version, official version and future updates of "Nioh 3".
---
✨ Core Functions
- **Custom Field of View (FOV)**: Say goodbye to the narrow default viewing angle! You can set the FOV value to any number between 0 and 3.00 (using radians).
- **Adjust Camera Distance**: Make the camera zoom in or out to find the distance that best suits you for fighting and observing the environment.
- **Effective immediately**: After modifying the configuration file and saving it, the camera settings in the game will be **immediately reloaded**, allowing you to adjust in real time and find the most satisfactory parameters.
---
📦 Installation Guide
- Extract the `dinput8.dll` file and `DLLMods` folder into your "Nioh 3" game directory (usually `steamapps\common\Nioh3`).
---
⚙️ Configuration and usage
- Open the `CameraConfig.txt` file in the game directory.
- Find the line `FOV = 1.658` and change the number to any value between 0 and 3.00.
- Find the line `Camera Distance = 225` and change it to any non-zero number.
- **Save the file** and the in-game camera settings will be updated immediately!
💡 **Tips**: FOV uses the **radian system**, not the angle system. You can preview the effect in real time by repeatedly modifying and saving it, and easily find the "golden perspective" that suits you best.
---
🔗 Compatibility
- This mod is compatible with almost all other Nioh 3 mods.
- If you have other mods that also use `dinput8.dll`, you can try putting them in the `DLLMods` folder, they may be chain loaded.
---
🗑️ Uninstall method
Go to your "Nioh 3" game directory (`steamapps\common\Nioh3`) and delete the `dinput8.dll` file and the `DLLMods` folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
