The dinosaur companion is always in the way because it's so big. This mod shrinks it to make it more manageable.

This changed the appearance. 2da made the dinosaur companion smaller and adjusted the animation speed and attack range to match. It doesn't change any functionality of the dino (including DnD size classes). Just put it into the overlay directory and reboot. (Default is \Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\override)

He now looks like a 50-60 pound attack dog rather than the size of a pony. This makes Dino more livable because he won't trap you in doorways or get in your way when you charge at enemies.

The movement speed didn't change, although he looked like he was moving faster due to his smaller size and his lower legs pumping faster to keep up.

It will be compatible with any other mod that changes the appearance.2da file. However, you can modify other mod's files to implement changes here. The steps are as follows:

Download TLKEdit.

Run TLKEdit and open your appearance.2da in NWN2 mode.

On line 36 (Deinonychus_NX2), modify the following:

NWN2_Scale_X, Y and Z are all 0.6

Animation speed to 2.5

Space to 0.2

Creperspace to 0.2

HitDist to 0.5

PrefAtckDist to 1.0

SelectionSize to 1

Then save it to the overlay directory
