Makes the local player health bar map evenly to actual HP instead of the vanilla weighted curve.

About this mod Author’s original text

HealthBarAccuracy

A client-side BepInEx mod for Mycopunk that makes the local player health bar map evenly to actual HP instead of the

vanilla weighted curve.

The problem

Vanilla Mycopunk weights the local player health bar so low HP takes more bar space than high HP:

| Actual HP | Vanilla bar fill |

|----------:|-----------------:|

| 0% | 0% |

| 50% | 33% |

| 100% | 100% |

The bottom half of your health is compressed into the left third of the bar. This mod removes that curve so 50% HP =

50% bar.

Features

  • Linear local player health bar fill
  • Linear health bar color gradient (uses the same value as fill)
  • Optional config toggle to restore vanilla weighting
  • Client-side only — no gameplay or multiplayer impact

Dependencies

  • Mycopunk
  • BepInEx Pack for Mycopunk (e.g. 5.4.2403)

Installing

r2modman (recommended)

Install HealthBarAccuracy, or add a

local profile install of your built package.

Manual

  • Install the BepInEx pack for Mycopunk.
  • Copy HealthBarAccuracy.dll to:

/BepInEx/plugins/

Configuration

Config file: BepInEx/config/sparroh.healthbaraccuracy.cfg

| Section | Setting | Default | Description |

|---------|----------------------------|---------|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

| General | Enable Linear Health Bar | true | When enabled, the local player health bar fill and color map 1:1 with actual HP instead of the vanilla weighted curve. |

Notes

  • Only the local player HUD bar is weighted in vanilla. Teammate bars, world follow bars, and enemy/boss bars are

already linear.

  • Compatible with mods like GraduatedHealth (notches become more accurate with a linear bar).

Building

dotnet build --configuration Release

Output:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
