Dedicated Weapon Keys
A small quality-of-life BepInEx mod for Mycopunk that makes the Weapon 1 and Weapon 2 keybinds dedicated instead of
cycling.
Features
- Dedicated Weapon 1 — Always equips weapon slot 1 (no cycle).
- Dedicated Weapon 2 — Always equips weapon slot 2 (no cycle).
- Pressing the key for the already-equipped weapon does nothing (no accidental swap).
- Scroll-wheel weapon switching is left unchanged.
- Config toggle — Disable dedicated keys and restore vanilla cycling via BepInEx config.
Configuration
Edit BepInEx/config/sparroh.dedicatedweaponkeys.cfg (created on first launch):
| Setting | Default | Description |
|-------------------|---------|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
| General.Enabled | true | When enabled, Weapon 1/2 keys equip that slot instead of cycling. |
The config file is watched and reloads automatically after you save changes.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
