About this mod Machine translation
This isn't actually a mod, but other utilities for the game. It projects a table with item prices within the game, so it's easy to see what's being bought and sold without having to look at external information. Shown in the table is the product name, the recommended maximum purchase price (green) and the recommended minimum purchase price (red). I did this because I missed the information to easily see what was being bought or sold.
There are 2 versions of this table. A default ordering with in-game trade items. Another has items arranged in alphabetical order.
I hope this will be helpful to others too
Helpful :) How to use
Before starting the game, use the shortcut to launch TradePricesTable.exe.
When you press the F6 or F7 key on your keyboard, it will open the in-game table. F6 is the version with the game's default order. F7's products are sorted alphabetically.
How to install using Vortex
Click the Vortex button at the top of this screen. After downloading, open Vortex. Vortex will ask you if you want to install the recently downloaded mod. Once installed, click the rightmost arrow button after this module's name (in Vortex). Select "Open in file manager." There you will see the mod file. You can create a shortcut to TradePricesTable.exe or copy the included shortcut to any location you want for easy access before starting the game.
How to install without Vortex
All files are in rar. Just use a file compression program like winzip, winrar, 7zip, etc. to extract the RAR file to a directory of your choice. Before playing the game, execute TradePricesTable.exe. For ease of use, I recommend placing a shortcut to TradePricesTable.exe on your desktop. Therefore, you can quickly launch the program before starting the game.
How to adjust a table to your resolution
In the mod folder location is a Settings.ini file. You can open it with a text editor and change the values of XWindow and YWindow. These are the x and y coordinates on the screen of the upper left corner of the table. Just change the values, save the file. Switch back to your game and press F6 or F7 to open the table again. It will automatically update to the edited value. No need to restart the game. So it's easy to find the setting that works for you. (In case you didn't know, but you can switch between windows in Windows using alt+TAB. Or press the Windows button on your keyboard to open the taskbar)
For ease of use, I've provided different versions of the settings.ini file. Simply delete the Settings.ini file and rename the desired settings file to Settings.ini.
As you can see, you can change more values in this file. You are welcome to make changes according to your preferences. Make it wider or taller. Make text larger or smaller? Everything is possible.
To-do list
-This version is in English. If people find it useful and want another language, that will be possible. All product names are listed in the Settings.ini file. Just change the name here. If you did it in a language, please share it with us.
-This overlay is made for 4k screens. I'm trying to make it possible to change to other resolutions. This can be done by changing the Settings.ini file. The X and Y positions of the window are available, and the width and height can also be changed.
-Ideally I would like an integrated mod that colors items in the game based on their price. But I don't know how to do it. I would be happy if someone could do this or tell me how to do it as that would be the easiest way to get the transaction information on the screen. I find the game's default colors useless.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
