About this mod Machine translation
This mod gives players and modders an easy way to add new wanderers to the game and easily enable/disable individual wanderers.
Best of all, this mod adds some new unique and interesting wanderers, partially inspired by real historical figures.
How to add new wanderers using this mod:
Add wanderer's spspecialcharacter and wanderer_strings files to the ModuleData folder.
Open the Paths.xml file inside the ModuleData folder and add the vagrant's filename via:
<Wanderer id =“ MakeSureThisIsUnique” traitsPath =“ spspecialcharacters_file_name” textPath =“ wanderer_strings_file_name” />
- Open the Config.xml file in the main mod folder and add your wanderer settings via: <Wanderer id="MakeSureThisIsUnique" enabled="true" /> The ID must be the same in Paths.xml and Config.xml! If you want to create a brand new wanderer using this mod, copy any spspecialcharacter files and any wanderer_strings files and change the values to what you want, make sure the IDs are the same and follow the process above.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
