About this mod Machine translation
Edited around the Battania/Woodland character
Handcrafted characters look more realistic, without weird features or flaws.
All characters are carefully crafted, trying to make them as distinctive as possible.
You can use and edit all these roles yourself.
How to install:
Copy the text from the download and paste it into your character creation menu using Control + V. It will be copied to the previously existing character and you can then use it. You can also use this method to replace NPCs with skins.
If you wish to use it on an existing character, you can modify the existing character by pressing V on the world map, no need to make a new save
How to install skins on NPCs:
Option 1: Download "the Detailed Character Creation" mod and you can change the appearance of any NPC in the game.
If you want to add a skin to an NPC that doesn't have this mod, you'll need to start saving again.
~If you want to replace the face of a lord or lady, open lords.xml.
~ Press CTRL + F (search function) and search for the NPC's name.
~Replace the face code with the face you want to use
~You just need to copy the value named 'key=xxxx..'
~Save lords.xml and start a new game. Old saves will not show new faces.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
