TLD LOTR Scene Pack scene pack
[OSP] InVain’s TLD scenario package
What started as a small personal project grew over the course of a year into what is currently the largest number of reforms, and perhaps eventually every major settlement in the TLD. The original TLD scene, while still excellent, was designed to be as light as possible and run on even the weakest computers. However, some of the settlements (especially Dale and Minas Tirith) felt a little too small for me, so I started expanding them. Soon I also modified the sieges to make them more interesting, more challenging, and all in all, more meaningful, even more since sieges are so rare in this mode. The set now includes some slightly modified scenes, some changed more, and then some completely new creations.
Like TLD, this package is an OSP, so you are free to change it, re-upload it, or merge it into other mods. Please give me some credit. :)
Please keep in mind that if not all TLD scene props are required to use these scenes. In the pack, I only include props that I added or modified.
Please note that some scenes are much larger than the original ones. They all take some time to load and may or may not cause lag on older machines, although I tried to reduce particle effects like smoke. For comparison: I have an Intel i5 4570 and a Radeon R9 270X
The scene is running normally. If you use a combat grader, I recommend reducing the combat size to over 100. Not just for performance reasons, but because I think it will give you more time to enjoy the scene. Not all sieges have been fully tested, so please let me know about any issues you encounter.
You are welcome to report bugs or leave comments in the comments section. Check the main thread on Taleworlds for new version announcements and quick bugfixes!

The original and current TLD team goes to great lengths to create and keep this great mod going. OSP is also a tribute to you. M&B.808's TLD is the reason I bought this game in the first place.
Gutekfiutek For some textures, I went for the awesome Polished Buildings pack from his
Ruthven stole some water particle effects that I haven't managed to get working properly |-)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
