The Great Flood is a transformation that takes us into the brutal and bloody wars of the 17th century in Eastern Europe. You will have the opportunity to play various characters from these conflicts: undefeated flying hussars fighting in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Army, brave Cossack traitors, ambitious Ottomans, wild and independent Tatars and well-armed Swedes...

Different time period settings, factions, armor and weapons are not the only things our mod offers. In The Deluge you'll find plenty of variety and gameplay charm. We've added a lot of new features - some big, some small - many unique and you won't find them anywhere else.

Playable factions:

New game modes and nearly 100 maps

Deluge offers you some additional new game modes such as Invasion, Garonne Wars, Squad Captains, Last Man Standing and Domination.

The rules of Invasion are simple - a group of players gather in a team and try to defend them against hordes of enemies

Position the robot to survive as long as possible. It takes a lot of teamwork

and planning.

Galleon Wars will let you take part in epic naval battles, where you and your teammates will attempt to sink enemy ships.

Squad Leader is perfect for those who enjoy commanding their own team of soldiers, giving them orders and leading them into battle.

unique soundtrack

One of the many aspects that makes our mod unique compared to other M&B mods is the professional soundtrack, written especially for The Deluge by the talented Slawomir Jablonski. The new music fits the "feel" of the mode so well that it can even make your skin crawl at times.

cannon

"The Deluge" introduces an advanced cannon system. It supports different types of guns of various powers and ranges, which can be loaded with two types of ammunition - shells and grapeshots. Cannonballs are useful for engaging enemies over long distances and damaging the environment. Grapeshots are useless for long range combat and cause very little damage to structures, however they are truly lethal at close range due to the multiple projectiles fired and their wide spread. This type of strike can take down a large group of enemies.

boats and ferries

"The Deluge" ship is completely player controlled. Men of letters, you can sail anywhere you want...as long as you can stay on the water, of course. ;) But be careful, because those on board can easily pray for enemy sharpshooters or even artillerymen. A well placed cannonball can sink a ship with everyone on board.

The ferry is safer and can maintain a good defensive posture at times. They are not as flexible as boats and their movement is limited by ropes so they can only sail in two directions - from one river/lake shore to another.

Although weak in direct combat, Engineers can become guardian angels for their teammates. Thanks to his unique ability to repair, dig, and build (and destroy) things, he can decide the fate of a battle. He can construct a wheeled shield that can advance towards enemies and protect friendly units from enemy fire. He can repair broken cannons, and he can easily destroy enemy wooden structures with his powerful axe. He can also use his shovel to dig out piles that can be used as temporary covers.

Maps and buildings

The action in "The Deluge" takes place in a very different environment than Warband. Therefore, you can expect to see many new structures created for the mod. The feel of the world needs to change so it looks more like the seventeenth century. "The Flood" graphic artists produced many new models that made this possible and brought this seventeenth-century vision to life.
