This is the American Civil War mod V1, the mod is based on the "Fake Age of Innocence" single player mod, so a big thanks to Shedzorz and Swadian Man at Arms for their work. If you want to become an ally, you need to join the Vaegirs, and all other factions represent the Alliance. Mercenaries are Union infantry or Union cavalry, and all Lords, Earls, Kings, etc. are Union officers, except for the Vaegirs of the Confederacy. Your NPC companions are all dressed as Union officers, so if you want to change them you will have to fight off looters, robbers, bandits, sea raiders, etc. to get extra Confederate uniforms and gear as they are all dressed as Confederate deserters. Please keep in mind that this is V.1 and other updates will be released soon, if you want to make sound constructive criticism, please feel free to do so on the Taleworlds forums. Also, if you would like to further help develop the mod, please feel free to add your content, just ask via PM.

INSTRUCTIONS - The download includes some Civil War hair and beard BRF files, this will remove the medieval hair and beard from the game, to do this you must delete these files from the demo and place them in your NATIVE folder, remember to make a backup of your original NATIVE hair and beard BRF files. If you wish to play as the Confederates you need to join the Vaegirs, all of the other factions represent the union. Mercenaries are either union infantry or union cavalry, all of the lords, counts, Kings etc are dressed as union officers, except the Vaegirs who are Confederates. The NPC companions are all dressed as union officers, so if you want to change them you'll have to fight the looters, robbers, bandits, sea raiders etc, to get additional confederate uniforms and equipment, as they are all dressed as confederate deserters.
