SacredStoneHead's Nordic Armor Set Nordic Armor Set
Ready!
After a long time and countless reformulations, I decided to release the latest version of the armor.
The set includes a plate with and without fur, a helmet and a pair of shin guards - all in Nordic style, of course.
This is in no way trying to be historically accurate, but rather an anachronistic depiction that brings a Vendel Era feel to late 13th/early 14th century gear to better match the Nords in the Warband technology timeline, but keeping the old norse is great.
I wanted to release it with more pieces, but my life is pretty messed up right now and it's definitely going to be a long time before I finish it, so here it is so you guys can use it before Bummerlord comes out.
Hope you like it!
It's ready!
After a really long while and countless reformulations, I decided to publish the latest version of the armor.
This set consists in a coat of plates with and without a pelt, a helmet and a pair of greaves - of course, nordic style.
This by no means try to be historically accurate, rather an anachronistic depiction bringing a Vendel Era feel to a late 13th/early 14th century equipment, to match the Nords better in the Warband technological timeline but keeping that ancient norse awesomeness.
I wanted to release it with more pieces, but my life is a mess right now and for sure it will take a long time before I have it done, so here goes so you guys can use it a bit before Bummerlord comes out.
Hope you like it!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
