"Welcome, adventurers, to a new experience, a Ribhinn mod for Mount and Blade: Warband. Ribhinn is the name of a new nation,
Ruled by female members of an ancient matriarchal society, with an army of soldiers. also,
Slain soldiers, widows, daughters and sisters of nobles and commoners from several countries, ran to the mountains and now
Women turned outlaws rob merchants of their caravans. From deep in the forest, female barbarians, wearing horned helmets,
The ritual tattoos and war photos on their naked bodies will attack you violently. Other surprises: with
The speedy riders of the Amazon Sisterhood and their poisonous arrows meet. You'll find some interesting new companions to help you
Adventure: Silvana (healer), Pictona (warrior) and Sapho (engineer). "
Install:
You have to copy the folder named "Ribhinn Wars" and paste it into the "Modules" folder.
Copy the "Music" folder and overwrite the game's "Music" folder (excluding mods).
I've added several new music tracks (for coronations, weddings, etc.).
All music is this mod does not delete the original music. Okay? Tracks have new names.
If changes were to be made I would add the modular system files.
I added the translation to spanish (castellano, no latino).
New features:
TROOPS:
New upgrade for Wild Highlander (female): Summon Storm (dangerous, only fights Claymore).
New upgrade for the Angled Barbarian (female): Summon Frenzy (Dangerous, fights with the Great Axe).
A new balance of hazy warriors and horned picts (lighter but maintaining fiery action).
New balance in the number of Savage Women and Amazon Sisterhoods (party templates).
New Helmets: For the crazy photos, there are none available to players, as well as the other Summon Morriga Helmet, a helmet based on a fictional mod.
companion:
Sapho is a replacement for Artimenner.
Silvana is Jeremus' replacement.
Pictona is an alternative to Deshavi.
The three companions have chests with valuables (armor, weapons, books) in several villages. You'll know the hint just by saying it.
You can find 6 chests, but it's not easy (I add a spoiler file with location details).
3D models and textures:
Regarding the female body, the breasts are a bit big and round, and the butt is modified to be more rounded (only 156 polygons). New UV mapping of nipples, back and shoulders (by me). The original UV mapping wasn't great in terms of symmetry and I found issues with the texture work.
Ribhinn war armor changes.
Some models from Wedding Dance Mod, about 3D models and texture changes (by me).
The Furys (Amazon sisters) face a new version of the bronze helmet. you can in armor
Three different helmets are found in the supplier.
There are also new UV maps and Lods (levels of detail) models for fast frame rates.
Fixed cutting of some 3D models.
Fixed several weapons and their balance measures.
Best textures (in my opinion) for several armors, shields, female bodies, barbarian tattoos, banners, ground, metal reflections
wait...
You can see the scene props I made in some scenery (tavern, castle, city, village). ..): pitchers, goblets, coins, new grapes, quivers, rugs, plank walls, gnd armor, gnd boots, gnd gauntlets, etc.
I added new plants called Swamp Grass and Swamp Grass Dry, in a radom way (from the Oblivion plugin). You can see the rivers in the forest, next to the walls... some grass nets have more density now. I remodeled some of the rocks in a more realistic way (more polygonal faces, but faster frames).
Provides armor for the crazy savage woman (naked body). This is not a product, but you can buy it at
Loot the inventory to find some horned barbarian armor (move down) if you fight them and emerge victorious.
Some texture collision changes.
Changes in UV maps, meshes, textures, etc. for some 3D models (suttonhoo helmet, bronze helmet, morriga helmet, …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
