describe
New textures in version 1.1!
This is a texture replacement for the water/ocean world map texture in M&B. It's made for Warband, but will work with any version of M&B.
I designed it to best match Gutekfiutek's polished landscape model, which I highly recommend (although this mod will work without it.)
Install
- Pack the included Textures folder into the folder of the module of your choice (e.g. WarbandModulesNative)
- Make sure the module.ini file in the module folder has the line "scan_module_textures=1"
uninstall
- Delete the file "ocean.dds" from the module's Textures folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
