Pino Armors Pack

Version: 1.2

Module_System:1.34

Release date: 05/01/2011

describe:

-------------

This pack offers new XI-XII century armor, ranging from simple leather to massive armor.

Here you'll find jerkins, padded leather, hoop mail and a range of classic hauberks.

I declined the full line on the peasant_cloth model which I found very interesting. There's more to come in future releases.

To install, just place the resources and textures folders in the module.

You can also use the itemkinds1 data provided in the package, but I haven't verified that it works.

Conditions of use:

-------------------

These are OSP materials.

You can use them freely in games and mods.

Don't bother asking for permission, but you'd be happy to give me some credit if you can (it's not mandatory).

Acknowledgments:

---------

Nertea is used for scaling textures used in scale_shirt and scale_armor textures.

Authorization is pending. If he doesn't want to give me permission, I'll remove the textures.

All materials for Sarranid_pack use the texture section of almohades.brf from Europe1200 and are available using Cruger from the Europe1200 team. I'm very grateful to him.

Last sentence:

------------

I'm starting to understand textures, but I'm by no means a modeler.

Which is too bad because I have so many ideas and resources at my fingertips.

If there's someone out there who can build some new models, it would sound cool if he contacted me and we saw if we could collaborate.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
