It's not even finished, but it's definitely here! Perisno.90 is upon us! Sadly, it's still a heavy model when it comes to PC requirements. Hopefully this texture pack will support performance. It reduces the size of weapon, building and armor textures by around half. I hope this helps you enjoy warband mods as much as I do.
How to install
Download the rar/zip and open it when finished.
Drag the folder into your modules/Perisno.
It should ask to replace the file and say yes. (I also recommend creating a backup of the Perisno/textures folder in case you don't like the FPS boost)
And you're done! Run the game as usual.
"How much improvement can I get from this?"
Good question, for me I'm getting about 5-6 fps from these downscaled textures, although the load remains basically the same, keep in mind that Perisno requires "loading textures on demand" as it makes the game run worse for me, but if it's required then there's not much I can do about it. This is a good mod, just remember to delete those suspicious .dll files in its main folder.

Good question, for me, I got about 5-6 more fps from these shrunken textures though the loading remained mostly the same, keep in mind that "Load Textures on Demand" is required for Perisno which I hate since it makes the game run worse for me, but if it's required then there's not much I can do about that. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
