Currently compatible with Warband 1.154
SGYY is the abbreviation of San Guo Yan Yi; Chinese for "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". It is set during the Three Kingdoms period in Chinese history, when many warlords came to power and fought against each other. It ended nearly eighty years after King finally united the three separate kingdoms.
What I've done so far:
-Huge, the original map of China
-45 towns, 101 castles and 253 villages (more to be added)
-35 factions (and 6 claimants: more will be added when I figure out how) with about 350-400 count NPCs
-16 Troop Tree-
Unique banners for all 35 factions
- Appropriate music (licensing/copyright of the track still needs to be investigated)
ATM, there may be bugs and quirks in the game that haven't been fixed yet. That being said, the mod is fully playable and I encourage people to find and report bugs.
Update 0.8 is coming soon!
- Each troop tree has unique crafted troops (including armor) -
Generally make NPCs unique to their faction (no more Sanjar Khan clones!) -
Unique bandits and mercenaries (over 10 different area types)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
