Floris Mod Pack - Better Missi Floris Companion

Floris Mod Pack - Better Missi Floris Companion Companion

Install:

Unzip. Back up the original file located in Mount & Blade Warband\Modules\Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.5 and then use this file to copy-paste overwrite. This mini-mod is compatible with savegame, you must start a new game for the changes to take effect. If you install it, it won't hurt your current savegame.

Overview:

Missi Floris (companion) is introduced in the Floris Mod Pack. For a whopping 20,000 Danner you can hire him, he's well equipped and has some useful party tricks. However, since he's level 29, you won't have much room to customize him, and he's pretty fragile (no iron skills, no shield skills). Given that Floris is the creator of this amazing mod, I wanted him to live up to his alter-ego status as a companion.

What I did was take the best in-game items and translate them into Floris' equipment. I removed his Gothic Lance because the AI in this game is poor and using the spear gets them killed too often. I added a unique crossbow/bolt because Floris has very high crossbow skills by default.

Equipment list

Gerulfingen Great Helmet = Lord Red Red Winged Helmet (61 Head Armor)

Mail with Gerulfingen Surcoat = Lord heavy Heavy Full Plate Armor (64 Body Armor, 23 Leg Armor)

Gerulfingen Gauntlets = Lord Plate Gauntlets (12 Body Armor)

Gerulfingen Mail Boots = Lord's Iron Greaves (41 leg armor)

Gerulfingen Lord Sword = Masterwork Swadian Lord Sword（39c，30p，95 Speed，100 Reach）

Gerulfingen Heater Shield = Reinforced Mamluk circular shield (503/

503,33 resistance, 100 size, 81 speed) Gerulfingen Crossbow = Siege Crossbow (87p, 90 accuracy, 35 speed)

Gerfulfingen Steel Tip Bolt = Big Bag Steel Bolt (31/31, +2 to damage)

Gerulfingen Warhorse = Heavy Steppe Charger (61 Armor, 41 Speed, 43 Mobility, 36 Charge, 175/175 HP)

I've left all the original mesh so he will still retain its unique look. In addition to his starting data, he also received 4 iron blood, 4 shields, and 4 movements.

These changes will make him a very powerful presence on the battlefield, but not invincible/overpowering by any means (still very vulnerable). He is more balanced now. This is assuming you do full damage to your companion, if you play with 1/2 damage then the enemy will have a hard time knocking him down.
