About this mod Machine translation

Dena Party for Brytenwalda Companions

I really liked Brytenwalda, but after a while I decided to simply play as a Raider, an exact Dena.

So I just made this small tweak to army.txt (to change the npc names), modified my faction to side with the sea raiders, started a new game, spent a few days collecting companions who weren't theoretically opposed to raiding villages, installed them in dena gear, reset all their stats and average them to 10 and add historical/legendary Norse names to them, then make a playable save game (skills required for editing are minimal, just copy and paste, no hardcoding or rewriting, simple peach!)

So in a nutshell, you start on day 3 on a small, isolated coast where you find crashed and missing, one of your men is injured after finding some not-so-friendly locals, with only your trusted companions and you, alone in a new world, ready to plunder!

You worship an ancient Germanic god, are equipped with standard Dena Gear, and have stats that match all other Dena Pirates. Where is your companion!

Keep a small roving band and have fun or really try to carve a kingdom here!

up to you! enjoy your meal!

How to install

Hi guys!

If you want to try my little "Dena Party" storage game this is what you have to do:

The folder that says "In folder" contains the save game data you need to copy.

Go to the documentation in Windows, there will be a section called "Mount & Blade

Warband Savegames" folder, go there and if you installed Brytenwalda you would

See a folder named "Brytenwalda" and proceed to copy the

Files "last_savegame_backup.sav" and "sg00.sav".

Once you do that then move to the next folder in this zip, one called

"In the Warband folder of your installation" you have to look at your warband installation now

directory, and then there is a \should

Mount the "Brytenwalda\" folder, then open the folder and copy

Contained here is the "army.txt" file that has the usual companions of Nordic name changes.

Please remember,

If you want to revert to the original save game and classic companion ads, back up your save game in step 1 and the TROOPS.TXT file in step 2.

I used these random data, which are contained in

Stable RAIDING in the matrix of companion ads in the forum. This means that in theory you can

Raid villages with these companions without talking too much about Dena

Raiders theme.

Companions included are:

Agasicles = Hoskuld

Athrwys = Jarnskeggi

Brian = Kollskeg

Ciniod = Alfgeir

Frioc = Griotgard

Liuva = Fromund Matui

= Byrnjolf Olafsen

Mihael = Gudvaer Haklang

Osmund = Hreidar

Siwi = Iorund

With you are 12 happy raiders willing to plunder Orland XD

After you try to enslave/plunder and pillage a village, two companions will complain, but only once and never again (this is a stable raiding party)

Since they are essentially the same companions reskinned from the original brytenwalda, just don't ask them for their stories if you don't want to break the immersion :) I also tried triggering most city hotspots and they will tell you some lore to avoid this, may have missed one or two and just ignored him :)

During the game someone might not like Hoskuld (he was the grumpy old man) just support the complainers because Hoskuld/Agasicles had a friend at the party but other than that it was a pretty solid

Raid the party without complaining, I like the way they do it.

On day 3 February 25th you start with a little low rep, little reputation and only 150 shillings. All of your companions are balanced to 10, equipped only with Dena Gear (12/6/1/1) and the appropriate skill points/stats to distribute at your leisure. According to the game's lore,

I'm sticking with the regular Dena Pirate gear list to keep them "real". Companions I decided to create at level 10

With a band of hardened warriors to follow you, a leader and raiders, you can

Tailored to your own play style, that’s what I like

You start as "Classic" in the game Dena Pirate, (

Distributes 24 skill points after pl …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
