Casual Tweaks Casual Tweaks

I enjoy playing Warband single-player, but I find it often frustrating. If you're like me, you play the game not for the challenge, but to enjoy some good old-fashioned medieval warfare. This mod is the result of me modifying native modules in TweakMB. Initially, I only changed small things like fiefdoms and prisoner management. Now it's changing dramatically from the normal, unmodified game. Please don't chase me with pitchforks and torches...

I'll try to summarize the changes.

•Cows follow you on the world map

•The rebel faction's color now appears bright red when you embrace the Pretender's cause

•The party now eats every 24 hours instead of 14 hours, and each food item costs twice as many points

•Tournaments are now more valuable

•Maximum reputation per battle is now 100, up from 50; the number of people earning reputation has also been doubled

  • Experience and gold rewards for each battle are generously quadrupled

•No cost for siege equipment

too long•Fighting can continue after you are incapacitated•War

Income is slightly higher

•You didn't pay your troops, greedy bastards, almost as much

•Business profitability increased by approximately 30%, you can now start a business in enemy lands as long as they don't hate you (-50 is the minimum for factions and lords of towns)

•You can now prevent companions from leaving by threatening them

•Increase prisoner capacity at each prisoner management point

•Significantly increased reputation and leadership skills on maximum party size

•Leadership also has a greater impact on morale

•Captured enemy lords will now have a harder time escaping your grasp

•The average frequency of tasks is much higher

  • Almost all changes are 50% more positive or negative to your reputation

•Improvements don’t take long, so they’re no longer a waste of time

•Business building is also much faster

  • Recruiting from villages is much faster

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
