Caravan Raiders
Caravan Raiders Raiders
About this mod Machine translation
Caravan Raiders Raiders
A series of multiplayer scenarios that I hope will be fun to play single player too. I hope to turn it into a mini MMORPG, similar to cRPGs and Nord Invasion, where players' hard-earned gold and fame can be accumulated between games.
Include module files.
v 0.120 adds two new game modes: Field Battle and Livestock Raid
v 0.114 see comments
v 0.111, hoping to fix a bug that prevents players from joining MP and horse generation
v 0.11 adds a new startup screen, new maps, configuration files, and module system. Adjusted desert map and AI. Allow map selection in AI panel. Added individual team scores.
v 0.101 removed spam, hopefully prevents MP from crashing
Thanks to Barny and CoR, there is a public server: CoR_Camel_Riders. As of 0.11, you don't need to rename the mod file to Caravan to join.
CARAVAN RAIDERS:
Two rival caravan routes run along either side of the map. To earn money, escort caravans of camels to safety or attack each other's caravans and plunder them.
Just like in 0.11, you should be able to select maps and factions from the console administrator.
If you try to do anything other than multiplayer it may not work as I deleted all the scenes but only one that can be easily uploaded.
A caravan route follows the river, between two villages. The other goes from a desert spawn point, through a crack in the hills, to a dry river valley. The two ends of the valley route are marked by villages. The two ends of the river are marked by small oases.
It takes a while for the robot raiders to reach the other side of the map. Give the game a minute or so to start getting serious.
To attack the caravan, kill the camel riders. The caravan's cargo will then spawn. Hit "f" to collect it, at which point you as the looter will get 40% of the share, and the person who killed the rider will get 60% of the share. The goods will eventually disappear.
To make money from escorting, stay on the map. You'll receive a bounty for each raider killed, plus additional bounty when the caravan reaches its destination. The more players who join the other side, the more escort caravans there will be.
If you want to heal, stand in front of a rug arranged with water, which also marks the destination point of the cavarans.
Your score is the amount of money you earn. If you buy equipment, you lose money, but not your points.
Team scores are tabulated separately: one for each enemy kill and 10 for each caravan that successfully reaches the other side of the map.
To prevent the desert from filling up with lost robots, the game will remove guards who have lost their caravans or raiders who have lost their mounts. Normally this shouldn't happen in combat, but if you see someone disappearing, that's probably what's going on.
Livestock RAIDERS
Two rival tribes lived in adjacent river valleys, separated by moors. Attack other clans' livestock corrals in corner villages and defend your own livestock. Livestock will travel across the map on its own, but can be easily recaptured. Capture livestock by getting close to them. Smoke indicates a village is under attack.
Score: The maximum score is the number of kills each team has. The bottom score is the score from livestock ownership, expressed in parentheses as the number of animals in the pen/total number of animals.
field warrior
Take control of a squad of light infantry or cavalry, fighting between two spears. Disrupts the enemy's spear form, causing them to attack.
Score: A measure of each team's spearheaded morale. Red is aggression, blue is discipline, and yellow is fear. When aggression exceeds discipline, the troops will break formation and the formation itself will begin to advance. When fear exceeds discipline, troops will begin to flee.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
