Blackfire1.1 Alternate Troop, Parties, Items, etc
Blackfire Fantasy Mod replacement troops, parties and weapons:
Thanks to Blackrain69 for putting a lot of effort into this.
In short, this mod lets Blackrain69's Blackfire mod use all of its resources to give the game a more fantasy feel.

Install:
First make sure you have Blackfire v1.1 installed.
Unzip the file and overwrite facts.txt, parties.txt, party_templates.txt, item_kinds1.txt and facts.txt in the blackfire module folder.
What it does:
- Add some fantasy weapons to the lord - 10% complete -
Added cavalry to Rhodok and Nord factions - Done! (But I plan to adjust it later)
The Rhodok Troopers use more equipment than anyone, but if you ask me, it works for them
Nord Trooper has a Rohan LOTR feel. At least that's my goal.
- Added items and horses to all companions - 80% complete (Borcha and Firentis have some swords that need nerfing, want to change a few other things too) -
Completed Outlaws - 50% complete (I plan to do more here eventually)
- Revised troop tree - 30% complete (I really want to expand the variety of each faction as there are so many unused items in this mod)
- Modified custom fantasy weapon stats so they are not exactly the same - 15% complete, it needs balance testing. Lord equipment is complete.
- Modify mercenary troop tree - 5% (I want to add some new items and troop types there)
- Bow and x-bow damage, and royal bow nerve damage - Complete! If ranged attacks are too much right now, please let me know. When I was at low level, I was killed by forest bandits.
- Makes all new recruits significantly less crappy -
Same goes for giving Rhodoks swords, but I'll have to find a way to still have them use most of their spears
However doing this:
- Completely redone the troop tree for everyone so that all new items are used.
- *Want* to add custom stat boosting properties to Fantasy Swords - Yes
Add some quest sites to get special items maximum possible - because I don't know how.
- Make a larger aspect of the cavalry game - Modified
Game to make harder and smaller combat (something I like to do with my games) -
Create a true "hero" lord
- so that no army looks as crappy as almost everyone does now. By lame, I mean like a defenseless peasant.

v.1.8 Encourage feedback. Please report bugs. I know Nord's recruits wear noble attire and I'll address that as soon as possible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
