1257AD Reloaded 1257 AD Expansion Pack
Features:
Custom troop tree
KAOS political kit (start with king, prince or vassal). Players receive money (randomly) and equipment. Quantity and quality depend on player ranking. Different countries receive different devices.
Troop Quotas in Combat (RUBIK)
Players can inspect troop equipment
Allows troop orders to switch to other weapon types (Caba`drin)
Bodyguard (Caba`drin) in the scene
Player actions during sieges and raids (Caba`drin)
The victims who lost their horses became infantrymen (Caba`drin). Additionally, cavalry is automatically assigned to infantry during sieges.
Archers who ran out of ammunition were reassigned to category 5 troops (with slightly edited Caba`drin code)
Prosecution Spiral Amendment (ZSAR)
Changed the kingdom's culture (you couldn't before, just the religion)
Tavern Recruitment
Translated troop and party names completely (lords still have original names)
Balanced troop statistics
Increased bolt quiver capacity to 40-45
Add previous button to banner selection presentation
The player accepts the troops if the noble begins to choose
Factions will spawn scouts, patrols, foragers, war parties, and mercenary companies. This number depends on the number of towns or/and castles they own.
New parties spawn: rogue mercenary companies, runaway serfs and rebels (to strengthen peasant rebels)
Faction resurrection implementation
Players can kill prisoners, excluding lords
NPC lords will train their party with trainer skills every day just like players
Always choose a side when joining a fight
Post-battle kill count (v1.2)
Game menu that changes various things like party size and merchant respawn rate and number of items (v1.3)
The player gains reputation if he kills enough enemies in combat (every 5 kills = +1 reputation) (v1.3)
New access to factions feature (v1.3)
New textures for female faces (no more ugly women!) (v1.3) BUG
Correction:
Fixed a bug with the Manor (copies of players scattered all over the place)
Fixed some spelling errors in unit names
Current issues:
Tavern Recruitment Bugged Now Delete
Changing your culture via companion ministers was bugged (I think I fixed it) Fixed in v1.1
Battle maps were bugged (they were slow, I thought I fixed it but didn't have time to test it) Fixed in v1.1
The previous button to banner selection demo was a bit buggy (if you clicked the previous one on the start screen it showed something else besides the logo) Now removed
Veteran and elite merc variants still use lower levels of armor. I will change it later as it saves compatibility.
Check prisoner equipment for bugs.
The troop tree is broken (not necessarily, just that it only shows 1 row of troops, 1257AD had 2-3 of each)
You need to install the base 1257AD version 1.13 in your modules folder. The reason is because only the source from 1257AD is open source, so I can't redistribute the assets. Simply extract the contents of the archive into the 1257AD folder and replace when prompted.
A new game is needed. They can use graphics modules as long as they do not replace files contained in the archive.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
