Author's introduction (GuluGulu translation + manual correction):
untamed wilderness
Untamed Wilds is an open source mod designed to expand the exploration component of Minecraft by introducing high-quality mob and world generation
This mod requires Citadel, it won't work without it
General characteristics:
All creatures/features are created as part of Worldgen. They also don't regenerate (outside of specific environments and reproduction/growth)
The creatures in this list include a variety of species; species are dynamically assigned to each biome based on characteristics in the weighted entry list, providing out-of-the-box compatibility.
Smaller creatures (depending on the creature) can be picked up for easier transportation, larger creatures need to be transported using a cage trap.
While the default parameters are intended to be "trustworthy", a number of configuration options allow users to replicate vanilla behavior (e.g. triggering breeding via favorite items)
Patchouli provides a very WIP guide (book + any piece of leather). The content in the book is generated from Wikipedia data, processed through the NLTK Python library and manually edited.

Mod installation tutorial:
- Find the game relative to version
- Install the front frame
- Put the Mod into the Mods folder
- Check the box to run the Mod in the launcher
enjoy~
Install & use Install: Java Edition mods (mod loader required)
- Install a mod loader first: Fabric, Forge or NeoForge — pick the one the mod requires and match your game version (without a loader, Java Edition mods do nothing).
- Unzip and read the bundled readme; in multi-version packs, pick the build that matches your game version — a mismatched build is refused at launch.
- Put .jar mods into .minecraft/mods; resource packs go into resourcepacks, saves into saves, and shaders into shaderpacks (with a shader mod installed).
- Launch the game — the loading log lists every loaded mod; seeing this one there means it is installed.
Mods with dependencies (such as Fabric API) need those installed too; mods, resource packs and saves each use a different folder.
