Mods that enhance online menus
The original author of this mod is Rikka0w0.
This Mod adds a text box and a button to the "Open to LAN" interface, which are used to:
- Set the port of the LAN server. You can specify it arbitrarily here to facilitate connection:
- Disable "online mode" and allow non-genuine players to connect to LAN games; a new U-heart ID repair mode is added to module version 1.8 and above. After turning it on, genuine players can still play in servers with "online mode" turned off.
Use the UUID distributed by Microsoft/Mojang to avoid the problem of other players losing their backpacks when switching from online mode to offline mode. In addition, you can specify those player names to be forced to log in offline to avoid duplication of names with registered genuine players;
- Specify the maximum number of players and switch PVP on and off.
In the case of non-dedicated server online games (LAN connection), you only need to install this Mod on the host. It is mainly used to turn off genuine verification so that players without genuine accounts can enter, or to fix the LAN port configuration to avoid frequent changes to the intranet penetration port address.
This Mod is only effective when installed on the client, and will have no effect when installed on a dedicated server.
Clients with this Mod installed will not affect joining other servers.
I only added the following functions:
- Traditional Chinese and classical Chinese support
- Check the IP address of the machine to facilitate connection on the same LAN
During installation, just copy the corresponding jar to the mod folder (for example: when using Fabric, copy the jar with the word Fabric to the mod folder).
Applicable to Minecraft version
Fabric & Neoforge:1.20.5-1.21.4
Forge:1.20.5-1.21.3
Install & use Install: Java Edition mods (mod loader required)
- Install a mod loader first: Fabric, Forge or NeoForge — pick the one the mod requires and match your game version (without a loader, Java Edition mods do nothing).
- Unzip and read the bundled readme; in multi-version packs, pick the build that matches your game version — a mismatched build is refused at launch.
- Put .jar mods into .minecraft/mods; resource packs go into resourcepacks, saves into saves, and shaders into shaderpacks (with a shader mod installed).
- Launch the game — the loading log lists every loaded mod; seeing this one there means it is installed.
Mods with dependencies (such as Fabric API) need those installed too; mods, resource packs and saves each use a different folder.
