About this mod Machine translation
Version 1 (black and blue) and version 2 (black and red) added for kirin armor beta (see images for details).
Notice:
All re-texturing work was done by myself, I didn't use other people's mods except for the one I mentioned in the credits.
***What model***
- Remove kirin body/top coat
- Remove all kirin fur from body, vambrace and waist (except boots as removing it will leave a hole in the leg)
- Remove the front garment from the waist
- Retextured clothes to black
- Retextured hair to black (slightly gray as too dark would look weird)
- Retextured horns and pendants to red (v.2), v.1 kept the same color as vanilla (blue)
***Install***
- Just download my files v.1 or v.2 and extract the "nativePC" folder to the MHW root folder (where MonsterHunterWorld.exe is).
I'm opening: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World (depending on where you installed the game, this may be different for you).
*** uninstall ***
- Delete the "nativePC" folder, or if you have another mod go into "\nativePC\pl\f_equip" and delete the "pl035_0010" folder.
***tool***
- Unpacking tools:
- tex to dds conversion tool:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
