What is Sildur Enhanced in Monster Hunter: World?
This is a simple ReShade preset designed to improve what the game has to offer without completely changing its look or feel. It offers a bit stronger colors, a sharpening filter to reduce the blurry mess of fxaa+taa and MXAO (ambient occlusion). The Reshade build I'm using has also been modified to allow the use of a depth buffer, based on v4.02.
performance?
It should be very lightweight, I capped it at 60 just fine, my gpu load went up about 5% and rescaled.
Important game settings:
- Turn off ambient occlusion in game (or press F9 to turn off MXAO)
- Turn on Fxaa + Taa (sharpfilter will make it less blurry)
Install:
- Download my modified reshade version.
- Go into your Monster Hunter World folder.
I'm in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World
- Extract the files in the zip file into the folder.
- Launch the game and you should receive a message in the upper left corner that Reshape is being initialized.
- Play games!
Presets can be turned on and off by pressing F11. You can also turn off secondary color enhancement by pressing F10.
uninstall:
Delete d3d11.dll, ReShade.ini and ReShade folders.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
