Monster threat level and three-star weakness indicator

About this mod Machine translation

This mod is a combination of my Threat Level Indicator and 3 Star Weakness Indicator mods, as they use the same core files and are not naturally compatible.

You no longer wonder how threatening an enemy is; especially useful for those new to the game.

Save you the trouble of browsing the wiki or monster guide for details!

**There is a small limitation due to the use of additional text and icons. For Barroth, Jyuratodus and Kulve Taroth (who swap weaknesses), they show spaces instead of (☆) with my original mod.

**Please note that the game does not differentiate between grumpy monsters when displaying their names, so keep in mind that the threat level only relates to infernal monsters.

All languages can be found in the optional downloads section.

Install:

Just copy the nativePC folder into the MHW folder: steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\nativePC\

uninstall:

Simply delete the em_names_eng.gmd file from the text folder located at: steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\nativePC\common\text\

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
