Install:

Extract the mod to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World" or your game folder

uninstall:

Remove "item_<language>.gmd" from "...Monster Hunter World\" nativePC\common\text\steam"

The following section is my process for updating the mod. Note that there may be an easier way.

item_<language>.gmd (yellow) indicates an outdated file. ITEM_ <Language>.gmd Green indicates the file you want to modify.

Load item_ <language>.gmd into Cirilla - GMD editor

Export item_ <language>.csv using GMD editor

Close the item_<language>.gmd tab in the GMD editor

Use a Java program I wrote with the input parameter item_ <language>.csv to filter the entries and generate a file named item_ <language> _remain.csv

As long as no new decorations are added to the game, you don't need to perform steps 1~4.

Use WorldChunkTool to extract item_ <language>.gmd

Load item_ <language>.gmd into the GMD editor

Import item_ <language>-remain.csv using GMD editor

Save item_ <language>.gmd

The source code can be found in Misc. And the generated item_ <language> _remain.csv.

Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
