Golden Switch Axes

What's up with these bored iron switch shafts?

Time to upgrade!

What?

Do you like SWEET MANLY DPS and use Proto Ax's poison to help your teammates? Do you like the Jagras Raider's combined sleep and exhaust capabilities? Do you still hate those weapon bores and plains?

Then this is your mod, the one you're smart about.

This mod replaces the standard iron switch shaft with a shiny gold variation. Also affects all switch axes based on the same shape, such as Jagras axes and Thunder axes.

This is a client-only mod, which means it won't appear in multiplayer.

You can still play multiplayer games normally, but other players will just see the regular boring axis (unless they also have this mod installed).

How about it?

Install:

Download the latest version of the file and extract the 'nativePC' folder into your Monster Hunter: World directory (this is usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World. You'll know you're in the right place if there's still a 'nativePC' folder there).

If you only want one of the two weapons, then go into the nativePC\wp\saxe folder in the downloaded ZIP file and extract whichever file you want into the relevant directory. Folder bs_saxe001 is for the Proto Iron Ax series, bs_saxe002 is for the Jagras Raider and Lightning Chopper isoaxes.

To uninstall:

Go into your Monster Hunter: World directory and delete the folders wp\saxe\bs_saxe001 and wp\saxe\bs_saxe002. That’s all!

But why would you do that?
