About this mod Machine translation
GMDedit
This tool allows you to edit .gmd (text) files.
You can only change the display text using this tool, this has no effect on any scripting/gameplay/whatever.
Please keep in mind that this is the first version and the first program I've released, so there may still be some bugs.
usage:
Use WorldChunkTool to extract Monster Hunter: World's chunk files.
Open them in this tool and edit whatever you want.
Place the edited file into "Monster Hunter World\nativePC" (e.g. "Monster Hunter World\nativePC\common\text\quest\q00503_eng.gmd") so the game can be loaded.
Known issues:
Make sure there are no edit text fields before clicking Save. Start by clicking somewhere in the empty space to deselect the cell you are editing, if you forget to do this your changes to that cell will not be saved.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
