About this mod Machine translation
This mod fixes the initial location of certain monsters in all quests, adventures and surveys (if using the default initial settings).
This mod will not affect monsters in quests that already have custom/fixed ones,
Installation method:
Automatic (recommended):
Download the "Monster Hunter Mod Management Tool" or "Hunting Mod Box";
Put the downloaded compressed package into the Mod management tool for automatic installation and management;
Manual:
- Download the compressed package;
- Place the "nativePC" folder in the compressed package into the game directory;
- If you want to uninstall, just delete the "nativePC" folder
This mod fixes the spawn location for certain monsters for any quest, expedition, and investigation that you post (if they use default spawn settings). This mod doesn't affect the spawns in quests that already have their own custom/fixed spawns, such as the Teostra in "No Remorse, No Surrender", so all monster spawns should still be valid but without the RNG.
Here's a list of all spawns included in the mod.
Installation:
Download the mod from the Files tab, extract the file and copy its nativePC folder to your Monster Hunter World directory.
Alternatively, if you only want to use certain fixed spawns, download the main file with all spawns, then use this spreadsheet to figure out which files you need to copy to your own nativePC folder.
Uninstall:
Delete the following folder if you want to delete all fixed spawns:
nativePC/quest/enemy/boss
If you only want to delete a few spawns, use this spreadsheet to figure out which files you need to remove from your nativePC folder
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
