About this mod Machine translation
Updated all my shiny armor models. I also added Kirin Y and Xeno Y. Choose whatever you like.
Look at the image. I don't need to update Hazak since it already uses tintable lighting. Nergigante and Kulve won't shine, but I will definitely be modifying the Y version when they are released. The Teostra and Lunastra armors look absolutely ridiculous to me, so I won't modify them at all.
Wearing the full suit is not good for my DPS.
If you haven't downloaded ModsPalPueblo's MHW Costume Armor yet, you're missing out - it lets you layer any armor you want! nice one.
What are these files/what should I delete if I don't like it?
All/most mods include CMM.tex files; these allow you to dye different parts of the armor.
Many mods include mrl3 files; these change the color and intensity of the pulsing lights (which I personally like). They also allow you to add new files (Kushala).
Some mods include BM.tex or BML.tex files; these change the default color of the armor.
Some mods include EM.tex files; these change the spots emitted by the armor.
I downloaded one of your previous mods. What updates/additions?
Older versions of this mod have now been removed. If you have downloaded one of the previous versions (Xeno A/B, Kushala Y, Zorah Y, Azure Starlord), many files have been updated in this new version, making the older version obsolete. The Zip size is smaller because I no longer include the original (using WorldChunkTool). Invididual file sizes are larger because I now generate mipmaps for them, which is the default for MHW textures and improves rendering speed on slower pcs (wikipedia). If enough people want it, I might upload the no-mipmap version.
Xeno mods:
There are new BM/BML files for Xeno A/B. These remove the holes in the cloth/wings.
Xeno A/B has updated mrl3 files. These make the light the same color as the dye.
Xeno Y has the same staining scheme as A. A subtle red sheen is slightly enhanced.
The image of the Xeno A/Y uses the model of leeyw's Slim Xeno'jiiva Armor. I really recommend it, it looks great! If you want to use it with my mod:
"Install" my mod by putting it into nativePC.
Download and unzip the Slim mod somewhere.
In the arm/mod folder, delete all files except . mod3 and slinger BML. (With mod3, the oil slinger looked ugly, so BML made it invisible.)
In the helm/mod folder, delete all files except . mod3 and. evhl. (Or your head might look weird.)
In other folders (body/mod, leg/mod and wst/mod) delete all files except . mod3.
Now place the Slim mod in the nativePC folder. It shouldn't overwrite any of my mod's files.
Kirin mods:
Kirin Y armor now has a new dye scheme that allows you to color your "fur" instead of some random belt or something. Be the pony you want!
The Kirin B helmet now has an equivalent dye scheme and Y glow effect.
The image of Kirin B/Y has had its horn texture removed, similar to ZephyAlurus' hornless Kirin head. With this, you can become an earth pony. If you want to keep horn, open the containing helm/mod folder and delete BML.tex.
Kushala mods:
Kushala Y/B updated mrl3 file. These make the light the same color as the dye.
Zorah mods:
Zorah Y/B has updated the mrl3 file. These make the light the same color as the dye.
The Zorah B helmet also has a similar texture to the Zorah Y, so it will match when worn.
I also improved some mismatched dyes/glow spots, so this is a direct update of my original mod.
Azure Starlord has an mrl3 file added. This will cause your heart to glow the same color as the dye.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
