This mod currently has 2 missions:
The first mission is on the eve of Operation Barbarossa. You control a platoon of mountain infantry to complete the mission.
In the second mission, you will control large-scale troops to complete the mission.
The following focuses on the second task:
- The mission can be completed by annihilating all enemies in the target area.
- When you complete the secondary task, you will get 1 command point, and when you complete the main task, you will get 2 command points.
- These command points are used to summon reinforcements (more details below)
- If you occupy a target, the Soviet Union may launch a counterattack, of course, it depends on what your target is. This setting makes the mission more difficult and forces you to build fortifications (built by field engineers and infantry) after capturing the objective.
- This mission uses a large number of troops and may crash and jump out. In order to avoid this situation, I have added a function to delete corpses (it should be noted that this function will also delete injured soldiers who have fallen to the ground)
- Now injured soldiers who fall to the ground only have one chance to be resurrected. This will make them more realistic (there are no people who can be resurrected after being hit by anti-tank artillery).
Some tips:
- Check the backpacks of anti-tank guns, mortars, and tripod machine guns. They usually carry some extra ammunition.
- If horses are used to set up weapons, check their backpacks, they may also be carrying some ammunition
- Remember not to use Stukas and howitzers to bomb a certain place at the same time.
- Field engineers and elite infantry carry H3 anti-tank grenades (contact explosion)
- Use the corpse deletion function when there are many injured soldiers lying on the ground.
- Good at using flamethrowers to annihilate enemies in large buildings
Reinforcements you can use in the game:
- Request additional reinforcements (free) -> Initiate a request to the command center to grant additional command points (based on Rng, you may be granted 1, 2 command points or not)
*I don’t know what Rng is
- Stuka -> A small squadron of Stuka bombers, free to use
- Infantry platoon -> Combat platoon consisting of three German grenadier squads and supporting weapons (random Leig-18 infantry gun / Pak-36 anti-tank gun / Mg-34 tripod machine gun)
- Mountain infantry platoon -> Combat platoon consisting of three German mountain infantry teams and supporting weapons (random Leigh infantry gun / Grw-34 mortar / Mg-34 tripod machine gun)
- Airborne Jaeger Platoon -> Consists of three elite German airborne Jaeger teams and a 20mm half-track anti-aircraft armored vehicle or another airborne Jaeger team (elite troops are better at CQC)
【Why is it CQC instead of CQB? Laugh~]
- Mechanized platoon -> Consists of three half-track armored vehicles and one support armored vehicle (random 37mm cannon/self-propelled mortar/ammunition transport)
- Mechanized reconnaissance platoon -> Composed of Sdkfz 231, Sdkfz 223, 3 motorcycles and Sdkfz 222, there may be additional Sdkfz 222
- Anti-tank platoon -> Includes 3 Pak-38 anti-tank guns and a random anti-tank gun (random Pak-38 anti-tank gun or Pak-40 anti-tank gun)
- Field engineering platoon -> consists of mechanized engineering vehicles and half-track transport vehicles (make good use of them to build defenses)
- Fire support platoon -> Consisting of 2 Panzer III assault guns (Type E) and 2 Panzer IV tanks (Type D), possibly adding 1 Panzer I anti-aircraft tank
- Tank platoon -> Consists of 2 Panzer III tanks (F type), 1 Panzer 3J type and 1 Panzer 38 (t), and may add 1 Panzer 38 (t)
- Supply Platoon -> Composed of …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
