About this mod Machine translation

N7 Penetration Armor

Zip file containing the mod. Import it into Frosty Mod Manager.

The armor set-up looks similar to Alec Clyde's N7 Pathfinder looking for those playing the Infiltrator.

Changes all Outero Shards regardless of level as follows:

Helmet: Pathfinder Recon

Chest: Pathfinder (N7 logo)

Weapon: Pathfinder Recon

Legs: Pathfinder Scout

N7 Infiltrator Armor

Armor looks similar to Alec Clyde's N7 appearance for those who play the Infiltrator.

I've always enjoyed playing the Infiltrator in the Mass Effect series, and I really like the look of the N7 armor introduced by Alec Ryder in Mass Effect Andromeda. However, the Pathfinder Armor set does not apply to Infiltrators as the ideal bonus stats are found in the Outlaw set. Even if I were to use the Pathfinder suit, I would lose the N7 look on the chest at development level 3 or above. This armor swap mod makes this desired look possible.

Changes to all Outlaw pieces regardless of level are as follows:

Helmet: Pathfinder Scout (see level 3-4)

Chest: Pathfinder (N7 logo, IE ranking 1-2)

Weapon: Pathfinder Scout (see level 3-4)

Legs: Pathfinder Scout (see level 3-4)

Going with the Scout mainly because it adds some small armor, compared to Alec's actual suit which adds nothing to the overall look since you're playing a mobile infiltrator rather than a heavy soldier.

Requests and suggestions

As with all Mass Effect Andromeda mods, you need to use Frosty Mod Manager to use this mod.

I also strongly recommend that you install NightWolf2503's MEA Fix Pack , as there is a long-standing bug that prevents you from developing some Outlaw Armor beyond level 4 or 5. The fix pack will allow you to develop all parts from the original rankings 1 to 10.

Using the Fix Pack will require you to start a new game with a new character or import a new game + running save. This mod works with both methods.

Installation guide

Simply download the Zip file to the MEA mods location of your choice.

Launch Frosty Mod Manager and click "Import Mods", find the Zip file and click "Open"

Highlight the mod in the "Available Mods" list and click the "Apply Mod(s)" button.

Make sure the mod has a checkmark in the "Applied Mods" list.

There's no specific place in the order list this mod should go, but if you're using other armor mods in conflicting situations, please be aware of the mod orders.

Compatibility and conflicts

Due to the construction of the Frosty Editor used to create armor swaps, this mod only works with Mass Effect Andromeda version 1.10.

Of course, this mod will conflict with any mod you apply that changes the Outlaw Armor set, so don't try to use it if another mod is applied that changes any Outlaw Armor variants.

I don't see any conflicts with the Outlaw set from other armor swap mods you may have installed.

FAQ

Q: "This mod only applies to male Ryder, or does it apply to female Ryder?"

A: Given that I found no female-specific Pathfinder or Outlaw data in Frost Editor, this mod should work for both genders.

Question: "Why not change to the classic N7 armor?"

A: I prefer the classic N7 armor as the choice for my Biotic Powered characters since Biotics are the focus of bonus stats. Also, I don't like the idea of bulky armor being used for people who want to be quick and stealthy.

Q: "Why provide N7 skins when Ryder Child is not an N7 ranked operator?"

A: While I can see the argument that Ryder's kids are just doing "Conrad Wiener" by snapping up cheap knockoff N7 skins, the N7's skin has everything to do with Mass Effect itself, and people like me enjoy using them. Additionally, Ryder can tell Bradley of Eos that they use the N7 armor they inherited from their father as a sign of respect and respect for his memory.

Question: "My version of Infiltrator does not use the full Outlaw Armor set. I made my version of Infiltrator by using different armors as their bonus attributes. Can I request a version of this N7 version with my armor piece list?"

A: I cannot realis …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
